Villa Southern Dunes can be found within the Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club Community.
This is a gated community, with 24-hour manned security for your safety.
The community has a club house, which houses the gym and library.
A code may be required to enter and will be supplied prior to arrival, on request.
The community aims for the gym to be open daily (Monday to Friday), generally from 6am to 2pm, however, sometimes the club house is locked within these hours.
The community also has tennis courts on site.
Tennis rackets and tennis balls are provided for use during your vacation which can be found in the garage.
More tennis courts can be found at Lake Eva, just 5 minutes away in nearby Haines City.
If the villa's private pool is not large enough (for the more determined swimmer) the main community pool for your use can be found by the Southern Dunes condos on your right as you enter through the main entrance gate.
The pool is open from 7.30am to 10.30pm every day.
The pool can be found alongside the tennis courts, and has loungers available for your use. This can be a quiet place for a swim in a larger pool with restrooms located nearby.
Another community pool can be found behind the Club House and can be accessed during the day via a side gate.
With so many villas having private pools, this can be a quiet place for a swim or read.
Fishing is no longer available at Lake Joe, within the Southern Dunes community, but many fishing opportunities can also be found in the surrounding area.
